Oatey Solvent Cement Handy Pack includes one 4 oz. can of regular PVC cement and one 4 oz. can of purple primer, specially designed for PVC pipe and fittings. The clear PVC cement is for pipes up to 3 inches in diameter and can be used on DWV and Schedule 40 pressure lines for potable water. It flows ly and sets up quickly, suitable for application at temperatures between 40°F and 90°F. This cement is NSF and UPC and exceeds ASTM D-2564 standards. The purple primer is an aggressive, tinted solution that cleans and softens the pipe surface to ensure a fast, secure, and permanent solvent weld. It is i for all schedules and diameters of PVC pipe and fittings and meets code requirements where primer verification is necessary.
