Designed for optimal performance, the cups are zinc plated steel and feature a configuration that boosts the magnet’s effectiveness. The steel washers serve as i strike plates, complementing the cups ly. All cups and washers are countersunk for screwing, except the 1/4" cup, which is barbed for a secure press fit installation. For easy removal, a notch can be filed on the cup’s side to provide a pry point. Please note that the cups and washers themselves are not magnetic.
