Sorby Side Cut Box Scraper Blade, 3/4 in. is designed for turners who prefer to craft their own turning tool handles or use it with Sorby Sovereign System handles. This blade features a unique profile that is for cutting parallel side walls of end grain boxes, with a small radius on the bottom corner that creates a smooth yet distinct intersection between the sidewall and the flat bottom of vessels. It is a very sturdy tool that still excellent responsiveness during cutting. The scraper is tanged at one end and measures approximately 8 inches in length overall. Made from high-speed steel (HSS), the blade has a thickness of 1/4 inch. For use with the Sovereign System, a tang collet adapter (85406) is required. This precision tool is crafted in England.
