I for use on properly prepared new wood, it is important to remove any wax, lacquer, shellac, or paint completely from old surfaces before finishing. Application is with a clean synthetic fiber or foam brush, lamb's wool applicator, or pad—rollers should be avoided. For staining, apply a good quality oil-based or water-based stain first. The finish dries to the touch in 30 minutes and requires three coats with a two-hour wait before recoating. Clean-up is easy with soap and water. Coverage ranges from approximately 400 to 425 square feet per gallon, providing excellent value and durability.
